When it comes to creating things like art, music, games.. I create in hopes that people will enjoy them, play them, listen to them. When someone lets me know that they really appreciate my art and the things I make, it gives me SO MUCH MOTIVATION.

This is why I create!! Just for those 1 or 2 people who enjoy my things can keep enjoying them. (And myself of course.. duh)

But I wish that wasn't the case, getting these bursts of motivation from other people. I wish I could just have an infinite well of motivation and creativity to draw from. With how hard it is to get noticed on the interwebz, I just cant rely on that to keep me going when I want to constantly create.

I know theres other artist out there who are much more skilled at what they do, dealing with this same thing. It brings me some comfort to know im not alone, but girl does it suck that this is a common thing.

Artist Like 42 and Persune and Jeff burgess are all incredible artist that have definitely influenced me and my own art. Yet they barely get the recognition they deserve :(

Whenever you have the chance, I urge you to let your favorite niche tiny artists know how much you really appreciate their work. I swear, it makes a huge difference.

So much cool and amazing stuff is just tucked away into the corners of the internet, never to be seen by you, or I. So many things that we could potentially love and cherish for the rest of life and be hugely influenced by, just... out of sight.

Its really sad to think about, but on the flipside, if you just search and look for these people, you will find them. And there is always ALWAYS something to search for.

Ive recently gotten into newgrounds, and that has introduced me to so much creativity and fun that I never knew could exist in a single spot, like..

Holy. Shit.

I used to get recommended 1 cool good creative animation/video on youtube every so often, but on newgrounds its just a constant stream of that stuff.

The stuff that I actually CARE about and WANT to see.

There are so many incredible artists, its... incredible. It makes me so so so happy to see all that creativity, and its good reminder of how creating should feel fun, and to just make what you think is cool. (Heres my newgrounds page btw!!)

Ive been getting back into music lately after my great burnout. Its been rough but alot of fun anywayss, Heres some small tunes I made the past couple weeks!!
